If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. This information is used solely to create and populate your Alignd account and profile. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or any other Google services beyond basic authentication.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve our services, including facilitating circle bookings, sending notifications and confirmations, personalising your experience, and communicating service updates.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with circle hosts (e.g. your name when you book) or when required by law.
We share limited personal information with the following service providers who assist in operating our platform:
- Supabase — database hosting and file storage
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Cloudflare — security and bot protection
- Vercel — website hosting and analytics
- Google — sign-in authentication and location services
These providers only process data on our behalf and in accordance with their own privacy policies.
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security reviews.
5. Your Rights
You may access, update, or delete your personal information through your account settings. Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data, including your profile, bookings, notifications, and any circles you host. You can also ask us to restrict processing of your data by contacting us.
6. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Umami for privacy-friendly web analytics to understand how our service is used. No data is sold to third parties.
